What is claimed is: A pad cold batch process for dyeing wool with reactive dyes, which comprises padding the fiber material at a pH value between 7 and 9 with aqueous liquors containing the dissolved reactive dyes and then, to fix the dye, batching this padded fiber material in the moist state at temperatures up to at most 25° C., for 6 to 24 hours under the established weakly alkaline conditions.

The provision of defined surfaces with filter pads or fiber pads as sorption elements 3 and an adjoining overflow reservoir 4 ensures that very small amounts of blood can be sampled in a simple and convenient manner.

The filter pads or fiber pads are each defined by their geometric shape and are secured on the overflow reservoir 4 via a connection with a predetermined breaking point 5 .

An important feature here is that predetermined breaking points 5 are provided between the sorption elements 3, designed as filter pads or fiber pads, and the overflow reservoirs 4 .
