euro
area
NCBs
in
respect
of
interim
distributions
of
the
ECB’s
income
derived
from
banknotes.
Thisrepresents
the
interim
distributions
of
suchincome
to
the
euro
area
NCBs
for
the
first
threequarters
of
the
year,
which
were
subsequentlyrecalled
(see
“Banknotes
in
circulation”
in
thenotes
on
accounting
policies
and
note
18
in
the“Notes
on
the
Profit
and
Loss
Account”).
